Is Kaalakkanitham free?
Yes. The calendar, panchangam, horoscope, basic marriage matching, the daily and weekly prediction pages, the quiz and the Full Moon Walk are free for everyone. The detailed AI reports have a free trial on a new phone; after that they are for members, as are the monthly prediction page, Jamakkol and Pancha Pakshi.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use the app as a guest. To become a member you register with your mobile number, confirm it with a code and choose a plan.
Is my birth data safe?
Your birth date, time and place are saved only on your phone. Our server never stores them, and the AI service receives only chart facts such as planet positions – never your name or birth details.
Does it need the internet?
The calendar, panchangam and horoscope are worked out on your phone. The AI reports, the wallet and membership need an internet connection.
Does it work outside India?
Yes. Choose your city and the times follow it, in its own time zone. Outside India prices are in US dollars.
How do I pay?
Top up the wallet in the app through Google Play, then pay for membership, renewals and PDFs from the wallet.
What happens if I change phones or reinstall?
Members simply log in again: the membership, wallet and points are kept. A guest's wallet belongs to the phone, so register before changing phones to keep it.
What is Chandrashtamam?
The time when the Moon passes through the 8th house from your birth Rasi – a period for patience and care.
Why is the app sometimes resting on Saturday night?
The server has a weekly break from Saturday 10 PM to Sunday 5 AM India time. Logins, codes, AI reports and top-up confirmations wait until it is back; nothing you did is lost.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings > Delete My Account. Without the app, see the Delete your account page.
